| Day 2 |
Arrive Beijing, the capital of China. Meet with guide and transfer to your hotel. Remainder of the day is free at leisure. Dinner is at a local restaurant. (D) |
| Day 3 |
This morning, we will drive to north of Beijing to visit the Great Wall at Juyongguan pass. Enroute, you will
stop by the Olympic Green for a photo stop of the Bird Nest and Water Cube. After lunch at a local restaurant,
you will visit Summer Palace, a former summer resort for the royal family. In the evening, you will enjoy an
exciting show—Legend of Kungfu. (B/L/D) |
| Day 4 |
In the morning we will visit Old Beijing—tour Hutongs by rickshaw, visit Drum Tower, Prince Gong’s mansion
and have tea at local family. After lunch, you will visit Tian’anmen Square, the largest public square in the
world, and the Palace Museum, known as the Forbidden City—the complex of Imperial Palaces which is home
to the emperors for over 500 years in the Ming and Qing dynasties. (B/L/D) |
| Day 5 |
This morning you will visit the Temple of Heaven, where the emperors prayed for good harvest. You will also
visit the Yonghegong Lama Temple, which is one of the largest and most important Tibetan Buddhist
monasteries in the world. Balance of day is at leisure. (B/L) |
| Day 6 |
Free day for you to explore Beijing on your own or take optional tour. (B) |
| Day 7 |
Free day at leisure. Enjoy the sights and sounds Beijing has to offer. (B) |
| Day 8 |
Say goodbye to Beijing, You will transfer to the airport for your return flight to Vancouver via Hong Kong. (B) |
