Fly Vancouver to Singapore via Hong Kong on award-winning Cathay Pacific Airways |
| Day 2 |
Welcome to Singapore - a vibrant, multi-cultural, sophisticated city-state where East and West meet in comfortable companionship. |
| Day 3 |
Afternoon City Tour begins with a drive past the colonial heart of Sinagpore. Stop by Sri Mariamman Temple - Singapore's oldest Hindu Temple. This is followed by a
visit to Mount Faber, a local handicraft centre, National Orchid Garden and Little India. (B) |
| Day 4 |
Full day for you to stroll along Orchard Road, excellent shopping opportunities. (B) |
| Day 5 |
Start your day with a relaxing train ride across the famous causeway and into Johor Bahru. Continue by coach to Malacca. After lunch,
enjoy a historical city tour on foot visiting the various heritage sites including Jonkers Street, also known as antique street. (B/L) |
| Day 6 |
After breakfast, rejoin the highway passing Seremban to Kuala Lumpur. Welcome to K.L. (as locals affectionately call it), the capital
of Malaysia! You will see ultra-modern skyscrapers standing magnificently next to rows of quaint old shophouses. Haute cuisine
beside hawker stalls. Sightseeing includes the National Palace, the National Museum, National Mosque, Sultan Abdul Samad Building,
the Royal Selangor Club and passing by the Petronas Twin Tower—2nd tallest building in the world. (B/L) |
| Day 7 |
Morning tour to KL suburbs will bring you to Batu Caves, reach by a straight flight of 272 steps. Afterwards, see how Malaysian
handicrafts; batiks and pewter wares are made. Afternoon free for shopping or enjoy more of the multifarious sights of KL. (B/L) |
| Day 8 |
Heading north to Cameron Highlands (the centre of Malaysia tea production) takes you to an altitude of 1500-1800 metres above sea
level. You have the opportunity to see the “Orang Asli” (Malaysian Aboriginal) complete with their blowpipes. (B/L) |
| Day 9 |
Continue your journey to Penang and cross the Penang Bridge (spanning 13.5km—the longest bridge in Asia and 3rd in the world). (B) |
| Day 10 |
Today explore Penang visit the Snake Temple, Georgetown, Fort Cornwallis. Rest of afternoon is at leisure. (B) |
| Day 11 |
A full day for you to enjoy the Sun, Surf and Sand Penang has to offer. (B) |
| Day 12 |
Transfer to airport for your return flight back to Vancouver via Hong Kong on Cathay Pacific Airways. (B) |
