DAY 01 VANCOUVER - SINGAPORE Depart Vancouver to Singapore via award-winning Singapore Airlines. DAY 02 SINGAPORE Arrive Singapore and transfer to your hotel. DAY 03 SINGAPORE - HANOI - HALONG Transfer to airport for flight to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi, and transfer by car to Halong Bay. Balance of day is at leisure. Overnight in Halong. DAY 04 HALONG - HANOI Cruise on a traditional wooden boat (4 hours) among the emerald waters and craggy limestone cliffs of Halong Bay, stopping at the different islands to explore some of the many caves in this area. Sail past floating villages, fishermen casting their nets, and pearl fisheries and observe the rhythms of daily life on the bay. Later board your coach back to Hanoi. DAY 05 HANOI Hanoi, a city of lakes, shaded boulevards, and public parks, is the capital of Vietnam. Sightseeing in Hanoi City today covering the One Pillar Pagoda - constructed of wood on a single stone pillar; Temple of Literature, dedicated to Confucius; Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Opera House (viewed from outside only); St. Joseph Cathedral for its square towers, elaborate altar, and stained-glass windows; Bao Tang Lich, the museum of the Ecole Francaise d'Extreme Orient. DAY 06 HANOI - HUE Transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Hue and on arrival, proceed with sightseeing of the Old Imperial City located in the Citadel, the Imperial Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc and then the Dong Ba Market. DAY 07 HUE - DANANG A short boat ride on Huong Giang River to visit the Thien Mu Pagoda located on the bank of the Perfume River. It was a hot-bed of anti-government protest during the early 1960s. Then journey south to Danang, visit Cham Museum, and Marble Mountains. Overnight in Danang. |
DAY 08 DANANG - HOI AN - SAIGON Hoi An is a picturesque riverside town south of Danang. Visit the Quan Cong Temple, Phuoc Kien Pagoda, Japanese Covered Bridge, Sa Huynh Museum before transfer to the airport for flight to Saigon. Transfer to hotel on arrival. DAY 09 SAIGON Saigon is the largest of Vietnamese cities, with the hustle and bustle of Vietnamese life visible everywhere. Half day tour of Saigon City and Cholon (Chinatown). Visit the Notre Dam Cathedral set in the heart of Saigon's government quarter; Central Post Office beside the Cathedral; City Hall, also known as "Hotel de Ville"; War Remnants Museum; Ben Thanh Market, and Binh Tay Market, Cholon's main wholesale market. DAY 10 SAIGON - PHNOM PENH Fly to Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia. Visit Wat Phnom; Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda; Tuol Sleng Museum; Central Market or Russian Market. Overnight. DAY 11 PHNOM PENH - SIEM REAP Transfer to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Visit Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom. Overnight. DAY 12 SIEM REAP Visit Banteay Seri Temple; Banteay Samre; Ta Prohm; Prassat Kravan; Banteay Kdei Temple; Ta Keo and Thommanon. Overnight. DAY 13 SIEM REAP - SINGAPORE Transfer to the airport for flight to Singapore and transfer to your hotel for your next 2 nights stay. DAY 14 SINGAPORE Full day for you to explore this dynamic city. DAY 15 SINGAPORE - VANCOUVER Transfer to the airport for your return flight back to Vancouver. |
