| Day 1 |
Fly Vancouver to Beijing via Hong Kong on award-winning Cathay Pacific Airways. |
| Day 2 |
Arrive Hong Kong and connect onto Dragon Air flight to Beijing, the capital of China. Transfer to Presidential Hotel. |
| Day 3 |
Visit Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace and a boat ride on Kunming Lake. Stop at a Pearl Market before return
to hotel. This evening, you will be at leisure or take an optional evening show - "the Legend of Kung Fu". (B/L) |
| Day 4 |
Full day tour to the Great Wall with cable car ride included. After lunch, visit the old Beijing—Hutongs by trishaw and have tea at a local
family. This evening you will enjoy a delicious Beijing roast duck dinner. (B/L/D) |
| Day 5 |
Visit the Temple of Heaven and Yuan Long Silk Store in the morning. Afternoon flight to Xian, the great ancient capital and the eastern
end of the silk road. Transfer to Howard Johnson Ginwa Plaza Hotel. (B/L) |
| Day 6 |
Visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses at the Tomb of Qin Shi Huang, the first Qin Emperor. After lunch, visit the Big Goose Pagoda
and a jade carving factory. Reminder of the day is at leisure. (B/L) |
| Day 7 |
Today you will visit the Shanxi Provincial Museum where you will discover how Xi’an became the cradle of Chinese culture and to visit
the ancient City Wall. After lunch transfer to airport for a one-hour flight to Chongqing. A panoramic city tour if time permits before
transfer to the port to board your 5-star Victoria Cruise Ship, your home for the next 3 days. (B/L) |

Cruising on the Yangtze. Today’s shore excursion is to Fengdu (Ghost City) or Shibaozhai, famous for its 12-story wooden pagoda built
against a sheer cliff on the river bank over 400 years ago. Cruise through the spectacular Qutang Gorge. (B/L/D) |
| Day 9 |
Cruise on the Yangtze. Today you will witness some of the most fascinating sights in all of China. Enjoy a shore excursion at Shennong
Stream or Lesser Three Gorges. Continue cruising through the Wu Gorge and the west part of Xiling Gorges. (B/L/D) |
| Day 10 |
Morning excursion to the Three Gorges Dam site, the largest hydroelectric project in the world. Embark Yichang and transfer to the
airport for your flight to Shanghai - "Paris of the Orient". Transfer to Howard Johnson Business Club Hotel. (B/L) |
| Day 11 |
Today you will visit Yuyuan Garden, the old area of the city and a stroll along the lively waterfront, known as the “Bund”. After lunch,
visit the Jade Buddha Temple and a jade carving factory. After dinner, you will enjoy a stunning Acrobatic Show. (B/L/D) |
| Day 12 |
Today you will bid farewell to Shanghai and transfer to the airport for your return flight to Vancouver via Hong Kong. (B) |
